1. About the Anti-Bullying Policy
LittleBirdie is a service you can use to send a message to someone–when it would be easier, more effective, or just plain fun–to communicate anonymously using artist-created cards and a personalized message. It is NOT a service which you may use to verbally bully, abuse, or harass anyone. And, of course, you cannot physically threaten or intimate anyone using our service. You may not use obscene language in general, but especially not to harass anyone. You can use the Services to interact with other individuals, either online or in person. However, you understand that we do not screen users of our Services.

2. Complaints vs Bullying
You ARE allowed to use Little Birdie for complaining to someone about their behavior. We understand that there is a fine line between complaining and bullying. We reserve the right to make the final determination when a message might be considered bullying. You can criticize and complain about their behaviour, such as not mowing their lawn or because they use loud lawn mowers too early in the morning.

3. Bullying Definition
Verbal bullying means of using words in a negative way such as insults, teasing, put downs, etc., to gain power over someone else’s life. Verbal bullying is the excessive use of language to undermine someone’s dignity and security through insults or humiliation, in a sudden or repeated manner.

LittleBirdie does not allow any harassment of someone based on their:

  • Gender
  • Sexual orientation
  • Race
  • Disability
  • National origin
  • Military or veteran status
  • Age
  • Citizenship

People who are different than us are not of less value. This means that you cannot demean someone because they fit one of the above categories. You also cannot demean someone by comparing them to one of these categories. For example, you cannot say that someone is bad because they are acting like someone of a particular sexual orientation.

4. Cards
We don’t allow cards which can be used for bullying. Artists submit cards for sale on and 100% of those cards are reviewed to ensure they will not promote bullying. If you are an artist submitting cards, do not submit cards that are meant to harass, insult, or bully someone; they will not be accepted for sale.

5. Personalized Messages
And, if you want to add a personalized message, we moderate 100% of all messages to ensure your message complies with this anti-harassment and anti-bullying policy.
